Quality

Numbers on the line, not adjectives on the brochure

Every lot is measured at three points: the start, the middle and the end of the run. Thickness, shade factor, mesh aperture or flow rate is recorded, photographed and filed against the lot number.

Products are internationally certified, and the documentation pack travels with the shipment. Test reports and third-party inspection can be arranged on request.

Control points

Five checks between resin and container

  1. 01

    Incoming resin

Virgin resin grade, density and carbon black content checked against the lot certificate before the hopper is loaded.

  2. 02

    In-line gauging

Thickness is measured continuously during extrusion; out-of-tolerance material is diverted rather than wound.

  3. 03

    Lot sampling

Three samples per lot: thickness or shade, tensile strength and elongation, and a visual check for gels, holes and edge trim.

  4. 04

    Finishing check

Width, roll length, core size, stitching or grommet pitch and printing are checked against the order confirmation.

  5. 05

    Pre-loading inspection

Pallets are photographed, counted and sealed, and the packing list is reconciled with the loading plan before the doors close.

What gets measured, and how

A measurement without a method is a marketing sentence. These are the properties we record per lot, and the instrument used.

PropertyProductMethod / instrument
ThicknessMulch film, greenhouse film, geomembraneDigital micrometer, 10 points across the width
Tensile strength & elongationFilm, fabric, geomembraneTensile tester, machine and transverse direction
Shade factorShade netLight transmission measurement per lot, ±3% nominal
Mesh apertureInsect netOptical measurement, aperture stated in microns
Flow rate & variationDrip tapeGravimetric flow test across the run, ±5% standard

Documents

What arrives with the container

  • Packing list — rolls, coils and pallets by grade and lot number.
  • Lot inspection record — the measurements taken on the line, with the sample photographs.
  • Loading plan — issued before shipment and reconciled at handover.
  • Welding parameters — for geomembrane orders, wedge and extrusion settings.
  • Installation notes — anchor trench, seam overlap and panel sequence where relevant.
