Shade net that still holds its shade factor in year three
Round-yarn or flat-yarn net, lock-stitched rather than warp-knitted, so the mesh does not slip or open up under tension in wind.

Overview
The shade factor a net delivers on delivery day and the factor it delivers after two summers are two different numbers. We dose UV stabiliser by weight of the yarn, not by surface coating, and use lock-stitch construction so the mesh geometry stays fixed: a net that was 70% stays close to 70% instead of drifting as the weave opens.
Widths run 2 to 6 m and can be joined into wider covers with sewn seams or supplied as finished panels with grommets on a 50 cm pitch. Black is the standard grade; green, blue, white and grey are produced to order, and the shade factor is verified per lot rather than assumed from the yarn count.
What it does in the field
-
Shade factor verified per lot
Each lot is measured, not estimated from yarn count, so a 70% order arrives at 70% within ±3%.
-
Lock-stitch construction
The mesh is locked at every intersection, so the net holds tension and does not open up when wind loads the cover.
-
Virgin HDPE with UV by weight
Stabiliser is compounded into the yarn, giving three to five years of outdoor life instead of one season.
-
Tension without tearing
High tear strength at the stitch line lets the net take frame tension and hail load without splitting from a single nick.
-
Widths that avoid seams
2 to 6 m in one piece covers most nursery beds and tunnel spans without a joint over the crop.
Grades available
Black 60–90%
The general-purpose nursery and vegetable grade. Highest shade per kilo and the most stable under UV.
Green 50–80%
Green shade alters the light spectrum in a way many growers prefer for leafy crops and orchids; it also reads as less harsh on site.
White / grey 30–50%
Light reduction with less heat build-up, used over flowering crops and in hot, low-humidity regions.
Finished panels
Sewn to your frame dimensions with grommets every 50 cm, ready to tension without cutting on site.

Packing & loading
Rolls are wound on a core, bale-wrapped and labelled with shade factor, width, length and lot number. Panels ship flat in bundles, marked per bay with the installation drawing attached.
Questions buyers ask
30–50% in open-field summer conditions, 50–60% for seedlings and transplants. Full 90% is for nurseries and rooting benches, not fruiting crops.
Round yarn gives higher mechanical strength for wind-exposed covers; flat yarn gives more shade per kilo and a smoother surface. Both are UV-stabilised to the same spec.
Yes — send the frame drawing and we return cut panels with grommets on a 50 cm pitch, labelled per bay so installation is a straight fit.
A 40HQ takes roughly 18 tonnes, which is around 300 rolls of 4 m × 50 m at 70% shade. Lighter grades load more.
